10 Top Makeup Tips Look Better In Photos

10 Top Makeup Tips Look Better In Photo

1. Prep & prime. Make sure your skin is healthy, hydrated and primed for makeup.  A good primer goes a long way toward achieving smooth, photo-ready skin that will last through your whole event.
2. Always opt for matte. Makeup with shimmer and sparkle will look like more of a sheen in photographs, so choose matte whenever possible.
3. Avoid sunscreen, which can wash you out. If it’s a day or outdoor event, then use a chemical, not physical sunscreen. Make sure to check your foundation for SPF beforehand, too.
4. Go bold. There’s a reason Hollywood stars always have a full face on – the camera can diminish the features you’re trying to accentuate with makeup, like bold lips and bronzed skin. Go a little bolder than you normally would.
5. Contour. Contouring your cheekbones, nose, jawline or any other features you’d like more prominent will add back in any definition lost in a photo.
6. Make your eyes pop. Like I said above, it’s good to go a little bolder (without overdoing it!). So if you generally opt for a brown liner or mascara, try black this time around, and add false lashes if appropriate.
7. …But, create balance. While you want your eyes to pop, there are other features you’d probably rather not draw attention to. Make sure you don’t accidentally go too far on one specific area, such as overly defined brows or super flushed cheeks. Otherwise, it’ll be all you notice once those photos hit Instagram!
8. Adjust your lighting and position. Step away from your vanity every now and then during the process so you can see your face from a new perspective and in a new light. Check your look in a different mirror, or…
9. Snap a selfie. Always take a practice pic before you leave the house to ensure everything looks just how you think it does. You’ll avoid any mishaps before they begin and be able to correct.
10. Grab those wipes! Oil-blotting tissues are your best friend when you’ll be on camera, so don’t forget to stow a few away.

How to : Lovely Combination Nails Art Design Tutorials # Step by Step / LoLus Nails Fashion

Step by Step :

1. Select the two colors of nail polish that you will want to use, remembering to use well pigmented glaze to not have to make several layers. Paint your nails with one of the colors and other color, paint the diagonal down. I used the sky blue, the Colorama (collection Single Layer) and Candy, the Hits (collection Helo Kitty).

2. With a boleador or the head of a pin, make balls (blue in this case), leaning against the dividing line between colors.

3. With other color make balls in between, leaning against the diagonal line.

4. Fill also the pellets in the upper part of the nail, maintaining the same space / alignment. Finish with top coat (I used the film technique, I taught here, to prevent the balls borrassem to pass the top of the brush coat)

5. The bottom line is this! Everyone is intrigued to see and several friends wanted tutorial. It is much easier than it looks ?! I hope you enjoyed.

Easy and Wonderful Nude Makeup Tutorials # Step by Step / Best LoLus Makeup Fashion

Easy and Wonderful Nude Makeup Tutorials # Step by Step / Best LoLus Makeup Fashion

Step by Step :

1. Start the make wearing beige pencil below the eyebrow. Then spray it with the index finger to the pencil "disappear".

2. Place a ribbon connecting the end of the eye with the tip of the eyebrow (eyebrow already corrected with pencil and shadow, that is, it is longer, if I put a ribbon on it without the correction is pulled short and strange)

3. Now blending a clear opaque brown shade in the hollow. By the time the brush touches the tape I climb a little smoky toward the end of the eyebrow. At the time of blending always remember to reinforce the tone in dobrinha the eye and let him up more "light / smoky / washed."

4. In the mobile eyelid and inner corner apply a pearl shade.

5. Close to the upper lashes apply black eyeliner. I take it toward the tape, so the kitten will be right! Detail: the larger the space between your root eyelashes and dobrinha eye, thicker can be drawn if the space is small like mine have to be ultra close, okay?

6. Now smudge the shadow outlined with brown opaque chocolate. Take this opportunity to give a light marked the external and concave corner. The Katy is more marked because her eye has a deep concave, which does not happen to me, so I adapted!

7. Esfume the same shade in the external and concave corner, keeping the light brown "bypassing" that darker brown.

8. In waterline apply beige pencil and draw painting the region outlined below.

9. Close to the lower lashes while the shadow brown opaque chocolate and follow leading her down the beige pencil. At the end remaining 3 outlined: black, beige and brown.

Parisian Nails with Eiffel Tower Nails Art Design Tutorials # Step by Step / LoLus Nails Fashion

Parisian Nails with Eiffel Tower Nails Art Design Tutorials # Step by Step / LoLus Nails Fashion

Step by Step :

1. A nail enamel with white and the other with the light blue. Blue is matte, but let's just keep a nail with that finish. In the thumb applied white glitter (Flash, Colorama).

2. In the white nail, after thoroughly dried, I applied those ribbons for nail art forming a patterned listrinhas. In the little finger, applied black and white glitter (Charlie Chaplin, the Top Beauty).

3. Above, I applied a very generous layer of blue.

4. With the still wet and using tweezers enamel, took all the ribbons pulling the tip toward the base of the nail. If the glaze dries, it will "stretch" when pulling the little ribbon, so if you are going to do so over a nail, make a time. I applied top coat (extra shine) to finish this nail.

5. With a brush for nail art and black acrylic paint (or black enamel), drew a "v" very long.

6. Then draw three horizontal stripes across the design as well:

7. I applied a little white glitter (Flash, Colorama) around the tower and then finished off with the top coat.

8. On display, did the quilting. For this, I applied a matte cover layer (OPI Matte Top Coat) and waited a bit dry. Who does not have the top coat, you can only spend a layer of enamel, the idea is just "thicken" the enamel on the nail to achieve the effect.

9. Using a spatula to cuticle and the almost dry enamel, I was pressing to form a patterned. I started with diagonal stripes. You can use a knife, sandpaper, anything that can make a thin listrinha to press against the enamel.

10. Then in the opposite diagonal stripes, forming the classic quilted patterned, that typical of comforters.

11. So, enjoyed the different effect? It is very nice with other colors and even with the matte black enamel, which is easy to find in many brands.

                                                         Love you Bye !

Special Rose Nails Art Design For My Friends / LoLus Nails Fashion

Special Rose Nails Art Design For My Friends / LoLus Nails Fashion

Step by Step :

Unfortunately my nails all broke this week (I suspect because of the antibiotic I am taking to treat a sinus infection) and are mega short! But not me shaking, I know that soon they return to a minimally decent size! Hehehe!

I started glazing nails with Petal White (Colorama) and the waist (Impala).

1. Then, with a boleador and paint white fabric (or white enamel), made balls on the middle finger and the symbol tie Breast Cancer campaign in the little finger.

2. In white nails decided to make faces using a different technique and super easy!
I started doing two balls with light pink enamel (waist, Impala) and dark pink (Quaresmeira, the Top Beauty).

3. Place a toothpick in the middle of the two balls and make a spiral motion, going from the middle to the edges. Thus, the two colors blend forming the pink! It's super simple right! I made some little flowers on white nails.

4. With a small brush for nail art green enamel (Green Palm Tree, Colorama, and Emerald Green, Risqué), drew little leaves.

5. I applied top coat (Ideal brand) and the bottom line is this! Spring, pink and Representing the fight against Breast Cancer!

Love You Guys Thousand Kissess :*

White Sleeveless Cropped + Pink Pleated + Snake Heels / Vivaluxury

White Sleeveless Cropped + Pink Pleated / Vivaluxury

Good morning, Everyone! How is your weekend going so far?

Ok, so I'll be the first to admit that wearing sandals smack in the middle of winter is a bit insane! In fact, when I think about January appropriate footwear, sandals are pretty much the last thing that come to mind:) Yet, I find myself in this particular dilemma every year. That very familiar place where things I feel I should be wearing in Winter and things I actually can wear, given that it's about 80 degrees outside, don't exactly match. Sure, I've been trying to keep up the pretense that it's still Winter in LA by layering and wearing boots with pretty much everything, but as temperatures continue to soar, I am faced with the inevitable. Sandal weather is here:)

Brown Leather Zip Skirt , Oversized Chunky Sweater / My Silk Fairytale

Brown Leather Zip Skirt , Oversized Chunky Sweater / My Silk Fairytale

Hi, darlings!
I am officially sick and tired of this snow.
Although the weather has been quite tolerable for this time of year, the piles of snow...
well, mud and ice, to be more exact...are still there. It has become an adventure
to walk around the city without covering yourself in mud. That’s why I thought this
pair of boots I’ve found last week on sale, was the perfect addition to my closet.
Definitely more comfortable than the heels I usually wear, which makes it easier for
me to drive and run around the city without having to change my shoes. The skirt
I’m wearing today was another piece I managed to get on sale for less than 10€.
How’bout that?! You can easily see that this has become my „go to outfit”, lately.
A chunky sweater and a skirt. This way I stay warm without looking like a walking
pile of clothes. Yesterday, though, I made the huge mistake of leaving the house
with my bare legs. After listening to the weather forecast which said that the
temperature will be higher than the one we should be having for this time of year,
this seemed like a good idea. Well, it wasn’t! I froze to death during the pics,
good thing that I have an entire collection of hosiery in my car.
I am so eagerly waiting for Spring!
Have a great afternoon, guys!
Kisses

Love Feather Blazer + Lepord Clutch / Best LoLus Street Fashion

Love Feather Blazer + Lepord Clutch / Best LoLus Street Fashion

I’m playing with a few textures today.  Doubling up on the feathers and coupling them with leopard prints. I’m also trying something different… A middle part!  For the longest time (and still now), I think that my face looks off and odd with a middle part.  I was on set the other day and the hair stylist suggested to do one.  I hesitated but trusted her judgement.  Surprisingly, I really liked the result!  So much that I’m attempting it on my own today.
