Indian Summer Style

Indian Summer Style

Blogger: stylista

Here's my full outfit for the indian theme party, so much fun :) Many nice people and cool outfits, wish I spent a little more time taking pictures instead of drinking champagne, haha. It's almost two o'clock at night here and I have to get some sleep. So far, Stockholm is fantastic! Apart from all the rain.

The Little Yellow Dress

The Little Yellow Dress

A little yellow dress…I’ve fallen in love. Whenever I throw this yellow stunner on, it always results in cute little ladies stopping me in the grocery store to tell me I look “darling” (love getting that compliment), or friends, coworkers, and random strangers admiring the silhouette and the color. Who doesn’t love a precious dress that makes you feel that good when you effortlessly throw it on? Sometimes the most important part about fashion is dressing up to make yourself feel a little bit more special that day. And with a little bit more confidence on your side, you can take on the day ahead at full force. A sweet yellow frock like this one from Windsor will surely do all of that for you.

Black & White

“Black and white” is always a favorite and classic combo. Whatever the season–fall, summer or spring–I’m always happy to throw on this neutral duo. And this particular ensemble is all about staying trendy and classic, while keeping comfortable for the day ahead (my motto lately). A slouchy blouse and loose pants are the perfect combination for a comfortable day ahead. I threw on my favorite Lisi Lerch tassel earrings to “girly up” the outfit and voila. Happy Monday, darlin’s!

Printed

Printed

Life is just more fun in print. Lots of print.

I’ve been falling for this fall’s obsessions with pops of leopard, snakeskin, and cheetah. So I decided to mix it all together. This precious python print jumpsuit and a calf hair leopard printed purse were the just the right duo for a darling and glam result. I added in a simplistic, yet elegant, pair of Monica Vinader jewels (earrings, that is) and a choker I snatched at the Paris vintage market this summer (similar here). And voila. Life is definitely more fun printed.

Olive + Blush

Olive + Blush

An instant way to freshen your style is through choice of colors and the pairing of unexpected ones. Try new things, see what looks appealing, get inspiration and the end product is always fashionable ingenuity.

I find that the best color combinations are those with equal saturation (i.e. a pastel with a pastel), like in today’s post. Blush plus a soft olive hue in a perfect juxtaposition of definitively feminine and a nod of androgyny.

Back to the future

We have being seeing jumpsuits all over the place this summer. Today’s look is a transitional ensemble to the nearest season; fall. Love how easy to use and stylish one piece garments are; jumpers look chic, trendy and are super easy to wear. For the look featured in today’s post I decided to go all the way RETRO from the shoes to the print on my one-piece. Fashion is all about having fun while dressing up.
