This winter in my closet leaders are fur. Entry with one of them you can also see in this post CLICK. I love them for timelessness, femininity and elegance. Almost every season the most well-known and respected designers decide to promote these garments. Only change their styles and colors. I this time I put on a bit bolder version and a vibrant shade of blue. In the near future I'll show you the calmer, daily set with gray and black furry. Assuming fur limit the other patterns and colors styling to a minimum. I think that is sufficiently characteristic element of the statement, and it really is, it creates a whole. This is also why this time I decided to classic black tube, boots and purse.

I just really needed a break and figured I'd start the year off right... taking it easy :) I hope everyone had a wonderful NYE! I personally already know how I'll be celebrating next year and I'm excited!

I have been wanting a white slouchy turtleneck for awhile as I feel like it is one of the best winter staples. I like the fit and it's comfy but I wish it was cashmere or something. I got it on sale at Nastygal though for half off ($39) so I can't really complain :)

Causal Carmel + Stripes + Gingham / Best LoLus Street Fashion

As I have previously mentioned Emil and I ended up spending New Year's Eve in Carmel, visiting one of our favorite places in the whole wide world - the Carmel Valley Ranch resort. We discovered it by accident last Summer while exploring Northern California and fell in love the moment we saw it. Extending all the way from Carmel-by-the-Sea to Santa Lucia mountains, the resort is located on one of the most beautiful acres we've ever seen and offers a variety of activities like hiking, biking, running trails, golf and tennis. And since hiking is one of our favorite things to do, we ended up hiking for pretty much 2 days straight, exploring the vineyards, the bee apiary and of course the stables. I say of course, because we both love horses, so we spent at least a few hours there making new friends:) Seriously, how adorable are those ponies and of course the baby goat! Apparently everyone favorite little trouble maker!:)

Causal Street Chic Coat + Jeans / Best LoLus Street Fashion

As you can see in these pictures we’re escaping the cold weather; we shot this right before the first snow in The Netherlands arrived, so I had to dress warmly. But that was pretty easy with the luxurious winter items I sported that day, which was first of all my brushed-wool coat from Stella McCartney. This sand-colored jacket is double-breasted and has those big lapels, which really makes it stand out to me. Underneath I wore an off-white Marni sweater that features nice details such as the ribbed turtleneck, and a pair of boyfriend jeans that I decided to rip for an edgy effect. Last but definitely not least I have to mention my new favorite tote called ‘Sicily’ from Dolce & Gabbana. With its black calf leather, gorgeous cut-out details and golden hardware it truly suits every occasion. I was really on the search for a new black bag for winter so I could wear my Chanel Boy a little less.

Turtleneck Knit Button up Cape Sweater / Best LoLus Street Fashion

This year’s first post features a warm and comfy outfit for these cold days that we are having. The cape is very beautiful and warm, I love the detail on the back. I combined it with a total black with a turtleneck sweater and a fake leather skirt. The handbag is really cool and perfect to go shopping ;) And the original touch this time was brought by my new booties, you won’t believe how comfy they are!! Awesome ^_^Do you like this outfit for weekdays
